I love boating…
I’ve been boating since I could walk. Some of my best memories from childhood are cruising the waters of the Long Island Sound, where I grew up, in my father’s Bertrams. They’re the kind of memories I want to create for my kids too.
The Water’s Edge is a place for me to talk about everything boating: Edgewaters, new boats, boat shows, fishing, destinations and fun cruises in and around the South Shore of Massachusetts.
I’ve been boating out of Scituate Harbor, MA for only about 3 years so I still feel fairly new to these waters. I’ll talk about spots I’ve found – gems for great fishing, anchoring, swimming, going ashore or fun harbors I’ve discovered where you can pull up to a restaurant, tie up and have lunch, dinner or just cocktails – but I also want to hear from you about your experiences too. I’m always looking for new destinations.
